These answers cover some of the most common questions we receive from members and people looking to join. This page is intended as a helpful guide, but members should always check the current club rules before fishing.

No. HHAC waters are members-only. You must hold a valid membership before fishing any club water.

No. Our waters are not public day ticket waters. Non-members can only fish as the guest of an eligible adult member where the rules allow.These rules apply in addition to the general club rules.

You may fish into other areas of the lake where this can be done safely and without affecting other members. However, if another member wishes to fish from a swim that covers the area you are fishing into, you must move your lines away and give them clear access to fish their swim.

Yes. Adult members aged 18 or over can purchase a guest ticket for one guest to fish with them. Please check the club rules for guest ticket conditions, limits and responsibilities before bringing anyone.

Junior members can only night fish where their membership type and the club rules allow it. They must be accompanied by an adult member aged 18 or over.

No. Guest fishing is limited to one guest per member at a time.

Occasional family members, partners, spouses or parents are allowed, but no more than one non-fishing guest may attend with a member at a time.

Yes. Children under 12 can fish for free with their own under-12 membership, but they must be accompanied by a suitable adult member. Junior and intermediate memberships are available for older young anglers.

Membership applications and renewals are handled through Clubmate. Use the Join / Renew button on the website.

No. Members can fish as much as they like, but we ask everyone to be considerate to other members.

Yes. There is no fixed limit on session length, but we ask members to be considerate to others.

No. Swims are available on a first come, first served basis. Members must not reserve swims for themselves or others.

No. Swims must not be held by leaving tackle, buckets, bivvies or other equipment unattended.

Yes, provided the swim is free and you move safely without disturbing other members.

Members can submit catch reports through the Catch Return tile in the Clubmate app. Photos from members under 16 require permission from a parent or guardian before they are uploaded.

Use the Contact Us page and select Clubmate help as the reason for contact.

Report it to the club as soon as possible using the Contact Us page, or through the message function in Clubmate if you are on the bank.

Parking is available at all club waters. Gate codes are provided within the Clubmate app.

No. Dogs are not allowed on any of our club waters.

No. Alcohol is banned from all club waters.
